The Item Upgrader in World of Warcraft
The War Within introduced two gear upgrade currencies: Valorstones and Harbinger Crests. These currencies can be traded at the NPCs of item upgraders Cuzolth and Vaskarn.
Each item can be upgraded to the maximum level once for the slot. Upgrades to the slot are less expensive afterward. Additionally the pity system introduced with The War Within lowers extreme upgrade luck variance.
Upgrades
Upgrades are parts that enhance performance or add new features. Upgrades can be earned or purchased through a variety of methods, such as through in-game events or cash shop items.

Upgrades are only available for specific items. As opposed to enchantments, which can be added to anything but upgrades can only be applied to the item they are connected to. This means that an upgrade can only be applied to a weapon when it already has been equipped by the player. Certain items can be upgraded multiple times, providing a greater benefit to the user.
The concept of upgrades is fairly new. It was introduced in patch 4.1.0. The upgrade system allows players to fuse additional improvements to equipment to boost its power, from a simple boost in strength to significant damage and defense enhancements. Upgrades are grouped into tracks and each track has its own limitations on how high an item can be upgraded. Those limits are designed to prevent players from spamming low-keystone dungeons in search of gear and then upgrading it all the way up.
Upgradable gear includes armor, weapons, and consumables. The majority of gear can be upgraded when it drops. However, certain items (such Ornn's equipment and the infant Dracolich) are not upgradeable. Equipment can be upgraded to higher levels by buying a recipe from an upgrade vendor, and adding it to an item in the correct upgrade slot. The icon of the item or searching for it in the shop will display how many upgrades that piece of gear is equipped with.
The upgrade system has two major disadvantages. The one is that it may be difficult to identify the items that are upgradeable as the upgrade vendors don't always display all of them. The upgrade textures are created over the model which can hide enchantment details as well as other details.
Upgrades can be costly. Each step up a gear's upgrade level will cost a certain number of Valorstones or crests, depending on the slot of the item and item level. Weapons, for instance, require more Valorstones and crests to upgrade. Cash shop items can help lower the cost.
Recycle
In the wake of an increasing awareness of how single-use products and wasteful habits can contribute to environmental degradation, many are changing their shopping practices. Many are opting for high-end items that last longer, or using their old gadgets to make a way around. Some consumers are focusing on recycled products and seek the most recycled content when making purchases. This should help cut down the amount of resources needed to produce and extract new materials and create a more sustainable environment.
It is now easier than ever to find recycling. Many products, including furniture and paper, contain recycled material. They're made of recycled or scrap materials, and it's easy to purchase recycled items online or in stores. These products aren't only more environmentally friendly however, they're also less expensive than their counterparts.
When an item is leveled it will be rewarded with additional bonuses along with its improved stat. These bonuses are based on the level, and they differ from one type of bonus to the next. The higher the tier, the more bonuses you will receive.
More companies are committing to making products that are more sustainable as the world economy shifts away from resource extraction and towards recycling and reusing. A lot of them are focusing their efforts on recycling materials and providing incentives to customers who recycle their products. As the demand for sustainable products grows it is likely that we will see more recycled items in stores and on shelves.
Rerolls
Rerolling is an essential feature in Genshin Impact, or any other gacha game. It allows players to re-try their chances at getting the specific weapon or character that they either want due to aesthetic reasons or because they feel that it would fit well on their team.
Rerolls allow players to refresh items for the current waves in exchange for a tiny quantity of materials. The costs of these weapons rise when the number of rerolls within rows increases, however certain items may not be available in any way (for example weapons that are melee will never appear for players who can only use weapons with a range).
When an item levels up, it enters the Staple Pool where it gains additional bonuses. These bonuses are based on kind of item it is. For instance, an upgrade that boosts the weapon's primary stat will also boost its additional stat. If the item is rerolled, then the extras will change.
When a player is in enough stamina to complete the reroll, they can press a button using circular arrows to swap their current item for a new one. This new item has the same level, however different bonuses based on the type of item it was, such as a book, sword, gun or watch.
Rerolling an item doesn't alter its current bonus levels, but players may be required to meet minimum stat requirements for its special ability. This can make it difficult to obtain an item with the bonus they want but it also allows players to explore a different option in the future without having to invest more resources.
The item will receive a tier bonus and will ensure that it will receive an amount of stats in the near future. This is the main reason why it's crucial to upgrade your gear as much as you can, since once you hit the tier where any further upgrades will not make a huge difference, it's useless.
Sets
A set is a group of items that are connected by some property. They are often used in the field of mathematics, and can be represented with a notation like . Sets have many important properties, including the associative property and commutative property. These properties are important in understanding how sets function and are applicable to real-world situations.
In the game it is possible to upgrade item s by sets of items to gain additional bonuses. A set of armor pieces can boost the defense of the armour and a weapon could offer additional damage base. These additional stats will be applied after the base stat and before percentages and flats. These additional stats could be a great method to increase the value of an item.
When an item is upgraded, it will replace the base stat with the new one. For instance, an item that had 20 base damage now has 40 base damage. It will also keep the previous armor value and upgrade requirements. This is a great way to get an elite item for a low cost.
Upgrades of unique items are highly profitable, particularly when they come with an interesting modification. A rare belt that has +5 IAS for instance can have a huge impact on the strength of a build, especially in early hell. It's also a great method to increase the value of a unique item by injecting it with a high or perfect roll.
Upgraders for items differ for unique, set and rare items. Usually, the item will be upgraded to a new type of base after it is upgraded to level 10. A unique upgrade of an armor item that has the highest defense will result in a similar base type for an armor item that is elite. This isn't a guarantee, and in certain instances, an upgrade might not change the type of item.
It is recommended to upgrade your BiS (Best in Slot) before moving to non-BiS items. This will ensure that the player has an established base to build upon when leveling up, and will be able to focus on increasing their tiers as well as getting additional stats.
